BRANDING SESSION PREP AND GUIDANCE

I loved working with Trisa Lovejoy, the creative mind behind Silver Gypsy, on her branding photography session and we had a lot of fun. It was planned to feature her in an upcoming magazine article and she wanted to create branding photography to showcase her artistic creativity and her love of nature. We talked on the phone and came up with a plan. I sent her my branding guide, it offers clients a step-by-step guide that walks them through the process of preparing for and planning their branding session, complete with a mood board that helps visualize the branding process and a host of other helpful ideas.

THE DAY OF THE BRANDING PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION

On the day of Trisa’s session, I helped carry her jewelry, props, and outfits into the studio. Next, we went over the outfits she would wear and selected the jewelry pieces to use for the shoot. Her amazing playlist created a perfect atmosphere for the session. (Tip- Having a playlist of your favorite songs is a great way to set the mood for your session. It can help you focus better and keep you motivated throughout the session).

Playing around with Trisa’s jewelry pieces and props made from driftwood, rocks, and other nature-inspired materials was such a fun experience for a creative. She impressed me with the level of detail and craftsmanship she put into each of her custom and unique creations. They really show Trisa’s creativity and passion for what she does.
