I am not a high volume studio. I do not want to be. I take on a small number of families each month because I want to know you, show up for you, and create something that actually matters to you. I will help you figure out what to wear, where the artwork will live in your home, and everything in between. You just have to show up.

My sessions are intentional and guided from start to finish. You will leave feeling seen, comfortable in your own skin, and trusting that what we made together is something worth keeping on your wall.

That is the whole point.

I have pictures of my boys all over my house.

In my bathroom. In the hall. A few on the floor that still need to be hung since we painted last summer — I want them to be perfect, so there they sit. The black and whites are the ones that get me most. I walk past them every single day, work out by them, and just look. I still feel it.

I stopped making albums when Cooper was two. It is something that quietly bothers me almost every day and something I say I am going to fix every year. I know exactly what I have been missing, which is exactly why I show up the way I do for you.

I have been a photographer for over twenty years. But that is not really why you should trust me with this season of your life. You should trust me because I am a mother who understands what it means to look back. I know what it feels like to wish you had done more, preserved more. And I know what it feels like when you get it right — when you hold something in your hands that takes you straight back to exactly how it felt.

That is what I am after in every session. Not a perfect smile. Not everyone looking at the camera. That moment — the real one — where something true is happening, and I can feel it before I even look at the back of my camera. A little heart zap that tells me I got it.

My clients leave sessions telling me it was fun, that it felt easy, that even when their kids were a little wild, they had no idea how I was going to get anything good. And then they see the images. Some of them cry. That is what I work for.
