I’m so excited to tell you about this amazing newborn photography session I had with one of my favorite families! They are such a special family to me – I’ve watched their older kids grow from tiny newborns into amazing humans. I just had to capture these precious moments and I can’t wait to share some highlights with you!

Walking In For Their Photography Session

Picture this: this wonderful family I’ve worked with for years walks into the studio, and I can feel their excitement and see the joy in their eyes as they introduce me to their new baby, sweet Yara. The parents are beaming, and the older kids are over the moon with their new baby sister. It’s obvious to me that this is not just about taking their portraits but about celebrating a beautiful moment in their lives.

The Importance of What To Wear During The Newborn Session

One of the things that helped make this session so perfect was the choice of clothing. The family took my advice and opted for timeless and classic outfits in neutral tones, which gave the photos a timeless touch and kept the focus on the family. Mom, not sure of what to wear after just having a baby, chose two dresses from the studio’s wardrobe. Her selections were a blend of elegance and soft, neutral shades, a perfect match for the light and airy studio. Even their daughter was excited to enter the client closet, her eyes lighting up as she picked out a dress of her own. I loved helping mom and daughter feel pretty and pampered.

During the Newborn Photography Session

During the session, we took our time and took a variety of portraits to capture the precious moments of this adoring, happy family and their new addition. From sweet shots of the parents cradling their adorable baby girl to fun times with the siblings, every image was full of love and warmth. After finishing up with the family and kids portraits, dad took them home while the mom and I took our time to capture beautiful images of her nursing and holding her baby in a peaceful setting.
